If you like kart racers, this is a very good one. If you're only interested in online, I'm still so impressed with the game that I recommend buying & trying it. I put about 15 hours into adventure mode focusing on regular races (skipping relic & "CTR" races many times because those aren't needed to advance adventure mode). Its $39.99 (and even better on sale for $19.99). All tracks are available from the beginning. In spite of that, its still an impressive kart racer. Since CTR came out, its common for the online lobby to hiccup -load a group of racers, lose them, & repopulate a new group. Offline load screens are about the same, too, for some reason. The load screen times appear to be the same across all consoles: ps4, xbox, switch. And two 40-50 load screens after the race. A 50 second load screen before an online race. While CTR online has seemed strong, it does have its caveats. (I also got Sonic Team Racing just before CTR released, and only put 10 hours on that) Granted, I already put 250 hours into MK8 and was burned out on it. I've got over 300 hours in CTR, 250 hours in MK8. Sat 8th Feb Crash Team Racing online activity has seemed strong all year.
